As a dynamic member of the IT team in a multinational environment, you will be part of the infrastructure team providing the network uptime in our European sites, shops and datacenters.
Key Responsibilities
- Play a critical role in ensuring network security by using the Zero Trust framework and NIS directives as references. You will implement and maintain firewalls and other security measures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of data.
- Work closely together with our IT security department and external network partner.
- Create and maintain up-to-date infrastructure documentation, asset management and drawings together with the relevant project-owners.
- Will help to plan network security infrastructures that meet our needs.
- Will be involved in the coordination and supervision of the implementation process of network equipment and systems. This includes configuring routers, switches, firewalls and other network devices.
- Will provide day-to-day management of the network, including monitoring, troubleshooting and ensuring network availability and performance.

Profiel kandidaat
Applicants should ideally:
- Master degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Have minimal 3 years working experience in the infrastructure environment of a big multinational company.
- Be able to connect and properly secure public/private/hybrid cloud datacenters and other sites.
- Relevant experience is needed with installing/using the following products PaloAlto, Panorama, HPE/Aruba, Wireshark, Clearpass, etc… Also some server, IP telephony and storage experience is seen as a clear advantage.
- Prove to have a general solid technical IT background.
- Speaks English fluently including writing skills.
- Willing to travel across Europe for shorter periods and assisting with new network installations and upgrades.
- Be proactive and demonstrate problem solving skills.
- Be result driven and can work independently and deliver results in finalizing a project.
- Show a high degree of flexibility.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple IT network requests and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
- Possess excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt to a multicultural environment.
- Prove a strong customer mind-set and a team-player.
